The victims, seven were men, sent to Beaufort Hospital in an ambulance for treatment.
Fire and Rescue Department spokesman, when contacted, said a bus carrying 49 passengers was on its way from Kota Kinabalu to Sipitang but then crashed upside down when he arrived at the crash site.
He said when firefighters arrived at the location at 6:18 pm after receiving a report at 6:02 pm, most of the victims have been removed from the bus by the public.
