Shamsul said the fire also had discussions with the management of the farm to dig up the drain hose from the Endau River and channeled into the drain field.

Meanwhile, Field Supervisor Endau River , Mohd Nizam Md Zain , said he was unaware of the fire at the farm last Thursday and continued to call the fire brigade .

" At first we had to make a pre-emptive attempt to instruct workers but failed to control the fire and immediately called the fire brigade, " he said.
